‘The Chocolate Seed’ by Nettie Atkisson is the perfect soothing book to read to your child!
As any cacao farmer or craft chocolate maker will tell you, transforming a cacao seed into a chocolate bar is a complex process. ‘The Chocolate Seed’ gently explains the chocolate making process to children and their carers, using gorgeous illustrations and a soothing rhythm. The book was also designed to keep adults interested and engaged while reading it as well – Nettie found that she liked books where she could learn as she read to her newborns!
This book is an amazing opportunity for the little ones to learn to appreciate the food we consume and people involved in the making of it. It's a subject incredibly important to us here at Luisa's and we're delighted to be able to offer this book to you and your children, to see more about what's going on behind the scenes of your favourite chocolate bars!
