Here's a little bit about it:
Peruvian cacao is among the oldest and most flavourful in the world. For a time, the farms that produced it were on the verge of extinction. However, thanks to the growing interest and support from chocolate makers, these remarkable cacao trees have been preserved. Recent discoveries by cacao geneticists have revealed that the ancient Chuncho variety is one of the most aromatic and richly flavored cacaos in the world.
Tasting notes: Sweet notes of honey, lychee accompanied by a hint of fig and hazelnut that build slowly and gently into a delicious end finish.
